The first event to be held by the organization is the Fair Alternative Horse on days 14 to 15 – 16 of October 2016 in Alandroal (Alentejo, Portugal), 50 km from Badajoz (Extremadura, Spain). We rely on the help and support greatly appreciated the Town Hall and the Association of Friends of Alandroal horse.

This fair is a set of theoretical presentations (held in the cultural center) and practices (held in the bullring) reserved to persons entered in the event. Afternoon and part of the morning are intended solely for demonstrations with horses.

It is oriented Integration of new methods in traditional equestrian world. Speakers will have special care to introduce new tools to the participants, which may include in their practices to improve.

All presentations will be in Spanish and Portuguese, or translated. Other languages, such as French and English may be spoken depending on the number of participants who request them.

They will be offered views open to the public, the enclosure around the Bullring, where you will find the catering areas and exposure. Various types of drinks and food will be available in this area. Exhibitors will be companies related to the horse world. Also in this area will be artistic and / or didactic exhibitions. And several authors of books related to the themes exposed during the fair will present his work at the cultural center.

The village center is a 5 min walk from the fairgrounds, where there are several bars, restaurants and accommodation; as well as various small shops and banks.

The program is divided into 3 sections:

 – Health and Wellness Horse

        – Perspective of Western veterinary medicine and oriental

        – Prevention and resolution of problems through the care and the horse’s living conditions

 – Ethology and Riding

        – Application in training horses for all the traditional disciplines at the highest level

        – New working practices in freedom

 – Therapies and connection with the horse

        – Assisted therapy horses for people

        – New energy connection practices between horses and humans.
